About me

Experienced designer / e-marketer specialised in helping accountancy practices get the best out of their website.

My name is Léo Ludwig and I am responsible for all things technical over at Accountant Websmiths.
Despite the “pompous” Technical Director title, I see myself more as a well-rounded web designer, developer and search engine optimiser.

Born and raised in France, I have been living in the UK for the past 9 years. I originally crossed the Channel to study – for a year – but was seduced by the entrepreneurial spirit of this country and its wonderful sunny weather.

Fresh out of Uni, I became a contractor for a small web design studio based in Kenilworth, West Midlands. I then moved south and started doing freelance web design and SEO work for businesses and media studios, and developed a positive reputation for my skills and attention to detail.

While continuing to take on some smaller freelance projects, I started working for a UK based search engine optimisation company with prestigious clients where I was in charge of some key accounts.

I finally left to invest in a young company and help them develop their offer specifically aimed at accountants… and the rest, as they say, is history.
